While Lexus focuses much of its efforts on hybrid vehicles, the Japanese brand also knows how to release it from time to time and propose sulfurous things. We'll have the proof back in a few days when the impressive RC F Track Edition enters the scene.
In the meantime, we are entitled to wait for some teasers. This – the second and last date – briefly shows the car attacking a race track. The order is unfortunately not very long and does not bring any new significant information. Fortunately, the profile of the car is not completely unknown thanks to the work of our photographers.
From the clichés that have reached us, it becomes clear that the RC F Track Edition will stand out with a striking flap, new side skirts or redesigned shields. Of course she will also have a carbon hood.
Under the hood, there will likely be a 5.0-liter V8 already found on the standard RC F. This mechanic, which normally produces 463 hp, will be somewhat stronger from the outset. It should also have a few pounds less in this version.
The Track Edition could also benefit from new suspension settings. It would not be surprising to see it with a more efficient braking system. On the spy photos you can also see large discs, which are trapped by red stirrups.
This novelty will be presented during the Detroit Show, open to the public on January 14th.
